Quit my 2 week job at JCPenny's. Work for Macy's at the Clinique counter in Marketplace Mall. Get to wear a LAB COAT. A LAB COAT! Earn more hourly wages plus commission. Was Aly's food stylist for her photo shoot. Becoming fashion stylist for another girl at RIT. Took pictures of my clothing line. Getting images ready for Etsy. Possibly building a website to act as portfolio for clothing construction and design. Finishing new dress and shirt.

All in all, I have earned more awesome+ points this past month than I have earned in a year!

It's been three weeks since I moved to Rochester. I am extremely bored because A) I don't have my own car, B) the BF has finals coming up, and C) RIT is so huge; it's possible that I would get lost. I'm exaggerating because it's not that bad. The BF's roommate, who is never home, took me out. Then there's Wednesday Eve's parties, and a couple of the BF's friends took an extreme liking to me and keep me company while I sit around doing nothing, ha.

I hate feeling unproductive though. Luckily, I have two job opportunities, so I can finally save money and then hopefully have enough to get my own apartment back in Milwaukee or where ever I may go... I can either work at JcPenny's or Macy's, and I'm more than likely to choose the latter.

In other news, I'm almost finished with a shirt. It has a ruffled, layered bottom with a bib styled front and pleated sleeves. I desperately need a dress form so I can start this wacky skirt idea. Then, I will force Ally to lend me her measurements for a dress. Too many ideas and not enough supplies I guess.

Sunday is the Absolut Mango party at Max of Eastman Place (or whatever). I'm really looking forward to it despite the whole "painted girls" thing. I can't wait to go out!

So anyway ever visit Rochester? I need ideas of what to do.

So I hate moving with a passion. I never want to move again. Technically, I am moving again in two days, but that's a different story. Before I leave for New York on Sunday, I had to help my Ma move into her new apartment. What a pain in the ass (not my Ma, the moving part)! Really, we have way too much junk. I wish I could just leave now, but that's not nice is it? My room is nice and organized because I annually throw away things I do not use. My Ma likes to save junk that she thinks she will use and in turn, it just piles up. Oh well. I wish things were simple like in Alice in Wonderland. You know, a big monster takes over the old house and well, we burn the house down!

Other news: can't wait to leave! I went fabric shopping today, so I can start sewing as soon as I'm settle in Rochester. Good thing I'm only taking clothes and what not. The BF is driving all the way down and hauling me back with him. He claims to be stealing me. I consider it running away from a tiny, tiny, lame town in Wisconsin.

Once I finish some clothes, I will definitely post a notice up. I will be the model for them, so I guess... it's two good things in one? Haha, yeah right.

Almost finished Xenosaga III. It only took me a year or so. God, since when did Shion become such a selfish whiner? I also think Kevin sounds like a jackass most of the time, but that's just my opinion. Jr. is still full of win. Too bad he doesn't do much in the storyline... It all just went so fast! Speaking of games, I became addicted to Warriors Orochi 2 at one point in time. Now, I need to play Fatal Frame 3...

Okay, so I have literally been "house" cleaning this entire week. I am moving to Rochester, New York and while rummaging through junk, I also found old Xenosaga quotes! Reminded me of websites, which reminded me of livejournal, and in turn, I decided to post something.

This is extremely random and probably too late to ask, but does anyone want any of the images or various musings from my old websites? For those that need a refresher, I owned Caged Canary (Garnet), Devil's Luck (Jr.), Nostalgia (MOMO), and Wrong Way (Ryouga). I could be forgetting something, but I'm too lazy to look into my broken-shard.net folder.

Besides that, how is everyone? It's only been... two years? Maybe?

I'm excited though. I completed fashion design classes in Milwaukee, and I'm aiming to start selling on Etsy. For those that are curious, leave a comment!

I still love all of my old web buddies!

I have already sent three emails to e-starr about cancelling. I've talked to the helpdesk person as well, but it's like they refuse to acknowledge my requests to cancel hosting. Arg, it's annoying. E-starr was always so fast at replying, but they always make it so complicated. I wanted it to be cancelled before the bill was sent for this month... ARG.

Anyway. I am excited because I am a big dork. Yay for Dynasty Warriors 6! I'll have to buy a PS3 just for that game. Oh dear.

After web designing and owning websites for roughly six years, I've finally decided to call it "quits" and close my domain. I've realized that I will never revamp my websites nor will I create new shrines any time soon. Summer break ends in about six weeks, so if I can't manage to update on break, I certainly will not during the school year. I need to focus more on my grades than on websites. I used to love designing websites and making shrines, but for more than a year, I've been static. I can't fall back into the designing mood. It makes me a bit sad to close my domain, but it was fun while it lasted! Broken-shard was only registered for a year, but I think I'm going to cut off the hosting plan soon. If domains were free, I would still own one, but I can't keep paying for hosting when I could use the money elsewhere. My poor domain is a bit useless, so I figure why use the money on it?

I'm not sure what to do with my actual shrines. I love Caged Canary to bits, so it won't be up for adoption. We'll see how things go! I would also like to keep a couple sites around, so I can be around LJ still. I just won't have a domain anymore.

I want to apologize to my affiliates/family. You can remove when you feel like it! <3

Here is my first lame attempt to customize LJ's CSS. I'm not finished yet, but LJ is driving me crazy at the moment, so that's all I'm going to edit today!

My new domain, broken-shard.net, is finally open! Please change your links from ayame.nu to broken-shard.net. I was having such a hard time creating a layout, but I finally managed to make something I liked. I hope you enjoy!

P.S.: LJ will not let me customize my layouts for some reason. So for now, you must deal with all the pink and the cat. Again.
